Who we are

This website is operated by Whiskever (“Whiskever”, “we”, “us”), of Dymott Avenue, Milton, Ontario L9T 0Z9, Canada. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Ordering

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you receive an order confirmation.

We may refuse or cancel an order — for example where an item is out of stock, where a price has been listed in error, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

Prices and payment

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and include no hidden fees. Shipping is free to Canada and the United States.

If you pay in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add a conversion fee. That is between you and your bank.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Product descriptions and images

We describe our products as accurately as we can, including materials, dimensions and packed weight.

Product photography is representative. Colours can vary between screens, and minor variation between batches is normal. Where a measurement matters — particularly for the grooming stand — please rely on the stated dimensions rather than the photograph.

Safe use of grooming tools

Our products are grooming tools for domestic dogs and cats. They are not medical or veterinary devices, and they do not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

• Supervise your pet throughout any grooming session.
• Never leave a pet unattended in a grooming stand.
• Do not use any tool on broken, irritated or wounded skin.
• Do not force a tool through a tight mat.
• Stop if your pet shows signs of pain or distress, and consult a veterinarian.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the sale of a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

We are not liable for injury or damage resulting from misuse of a product, from use contrary to the instructions and warnings we provide, or from use on an animal with a pre-existing condition that a veterinarian should have assessed.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, photography, layout and branding — belongs to Whiskever and may not be copied or reproduced commercially without written permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you where you live.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here at the time of your order is the one that applies.
